Keith R. Allen, MD, received his medical degree from
Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1991. He completed his residency in Cardiothoracic surgery at the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey in 2001. Dr. Allen worked for Cardiovascular
Associates in Sioux City, Iowa from 2001.- 2004. He joined Mercy Medical Center in 2004. Dr. Allen is Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery. |

Richard Gitter, MD, received his medical
degree from the University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1992. He completed his General Surgery
residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1997 then went to University of Virginia.
Dr. Gitter is Board Certified in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Gitter joined Mercy Medical Center in July of 2007. |
